The wage for this position is $18.00/hour 

What will be your daily pursuit?

Retrieves, verifies, and reconciles cash, credit, and billing transactions from all departments at the Golden Skybridge.

What will you do in this job?

  • An accounting position that reports to the Guest Experience Manager
  • Rectifies billing and payment errors and handles the security of all liability
  • Creates and sends invoices and receipts to credit customers
  • Prepares deposits for pick up and submits applicable daily records to the accounting department
  • Trained to perform the duties of a guest experience agent when required
  • This will be a part-time seasonal role (20-30h/wk) based at Golden Skybridge

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Extensive cash handling and some accounting experience
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in handling high volumes of cash ($CAD and $US), debit/credit card, and billing transactions
  • Strong analytical, organization, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Proven leadership skills, maturity, and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with Excel, MS Word and Outlook; experience using RTP, or other computer ticketing systems is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with local and international guests and staff, affiliates and tour companies

  • May audit invoicing, billing, and cash control of other Pursuit properties/attractions
  • Interact well with others; deal respectfully with our team, project stakeholders and the general public
  • Proficient in computer usage and general office equipment

What will your work environment be like?

This is a fun summer part-time postion, that will run from May to October 2023.

  • Remote. Our home is filled with trees, lakes and blue-bird skies; rather than buildings, freeways and smog. Connect with friends around a bonfire instead of through WiFi 
  • Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
