What will be your daily pursuit?

Welcome every guest entering the attraction, provide service in the form of ticket sales to individuals and tour groups

What will you do in this job?

  • Sustain a safe environment in all areas controlled by Minnewanka Lake 
  • Participate in the global effort to keep all areas of Minnewanka clean and wildlife safe
  • Be prepared for a fast-paced work environment with changing conditions
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to each guest
  • Working in a team environment as well as independently
  • Welcome and inform all guests of Lake Minnewanka; answer emails and phone calls
  • Ensure smooth operation by coordinating tour boats departures; operate radio communication hub
  • Operate all POS systems for bookings, ticketing & retails; handle cash and credit transaction
  • Understand and promote all products, services and policies offered by Pursuit BJC
  • Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked floor

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Cash handling experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Second language an asset

  • Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
